Paper: Validating and calibrating first- and second-person methods

During my stay at the Sackler Centre for Consciousness Science in Brighton I was involved in reviewing Ten Years of Viewing From Within, a recent special issue on first- and second-person methods edited by Claire Petitmengin for the Journal of Consciousness Studies.

This review has resulted in a couple of publications, the first of which is now available:

Froese, T., Gould, C. & Seth, A. K. (2011), Validating and Calibrating First- and Second-person Methods in the Science of Consciousness. Journal of Consciousness Studies, 18(2): 38-64.

You can download the paper here.
