About me

I am Assistant Professor at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST), where I coordinate the Embodied Cognitive Science Unit.

Our research explores the complex interactions between objective dynamics and subjective phenomenology at various levels of our life world. Different projects are analyzing and integrating phenomena pertaining to life, mind, and sociality.
